How To Naturally Respond To Life

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Whenever you feel stressed out, overwhelmed and fearful, remember that these are not natural responses to life—not from a spiritual standpoint.

From the spirit, all else springs.

Vernon Howard says:

“Natural responses to life are as close as your willingness to detect and drop unnatural responses.”

How do you detect and drop unnatural responses?

Personally, I detect unnatural responses by comparing my behavior to that of one of my favorite verses. It reads:

“…for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Any behavior out of alignment with power, love and self-control is unnatural. We were born with these three traits. And we can access them at anytime.

In order to drop the unnatural responses to life? See that they’re simply not working. They never have and they never will.

They aren’t profitable.

Focus on power, love and self-control. It’s available to you at all times.

All you have to do is make the choice.
